On behalf of the Board of Directors (“Board”) of HDISPLY, MIMB Investment Bank Berhad wishes to announce that HDISPLY had on 29 April 2010, submitted an application to Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad for an extension of time until 31 May 2010 for HDISPLY to release its AAA 2009.
The Proposed Extension of Time is in view that the external auditors of HDISPLY require more time to complete the audit on HDISPLY and its subsidiary companies (“HDISPLY Group”). As such, the Company envisages that it will not be able to meet the deadline to release the AAA 2009.
We wish to also highlight that based on HDISPLY Group’s preliminary draft accounts for the FYE 31 December 2009, it is likely that there will be a deviation of more than 10% between the profit after tax and minority interest stated in HDISPLY’s unaudited financial statements for the FYE 31 December 2009 (which was announced on 25 February 2010) and the AAA 2009, resulting in a material adverse impact on the financial condition of the HDISPLY Group.
